Privacy Policy

TravelCalc does not ask you to register or provide personal details. The values you enter into calculators (dates, amounts, destinations) are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — for example, which tools are most popular and whether pages load correctly. Analytics data is aggregated and includes information such as pages visited, approximate location (city/country level), device type, and general usage events. IP anonymization is enabled. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors.

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser add-on, or by using browser privacy features that block analytics scripts.

We display advertising through Google AdSense to keep TravelCalc free. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites (personalized advertising), or to serve non-personalized ads based on context.

You can manage ad personalization in your Google Ads Settings, and learn more about how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Users in some regions may be shown a consent prompt before advertising cookies are set.

TravelCalc itself does not set tracking cookies. Cookies on this site come from the third-party services described above: Google Analytics (usage measurement) and Google AdSense (advertising). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the tools will continue to work.

When you first visit, a cookie banner asks for your consent. If you decline, analytics runs without cookies (using Google Consent Mode) and no advertising scripts are loaded. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Some tools save your data in your browser's local storage so you don't lose your work — for example, the Packing List Generator saves your checklist. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

When a live exchange-rate service is configured, currency conversion requests are processed by our server and the rate provider; your entered amounts are not stored. Links to external websites are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.

• Accept or decline cookies via the consent banner, and change your choice anytime via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
• Opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• Manage ad personalization in your Google Ads Settings.
• Clear local storage to remove saved tool data (e.g. packing lists).
• Use browser privacy modes or content blockers as you prefer.

We do not maintain user accounts or databases of visitor information. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings (typically 2 to 14 months) before automatic deletion. Local-storage data remains on your device until you clear it.

TravelCalc is a general-audience website and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the contact channel, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the site or applicable regulations change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
